The American Axis: Henry Ford, Charles Lindbergh and the Rise of the Third Reich is a book by the Canadian journalist and Holocaust researcher Max Wallace, published in 2003. The book discusses the anti-Semitic views of Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh, their connection with Nazi Germany and their influence on American and international politics, mainly during the interwar period. The book is thoroughly researched and contains many largely unknown and disturbing facts about two of the most famous Americans of the 20th century. Ford and Lindbergh's fame in particular is viewed by Wallace with suspicion, and he argues that their popular position in history as exemplary, albeit flawed, role models should be reviewed.
